Bookroom

There are two ways of thinking about Bookroom:

1) An eBook reading application with a note-taking function

2) A note-taking application with a built-in eBook reader.

If you are interested in the first description, then Bookroom fits you perfectly. It is an application that presents eBooks in an easy-to-read, good looking format. The note-taking functions are simple enough to use that they make using and comprehending text from eBooks fun. OS X’s Voiceover technology allows audiobooks to be created from any text you have.

If you like the second description more, then you should definitely check out snippets. Snippets can take information of any kind, from any source. Snippets are tag-able, filter-able, group-able, connect-able bits of information that anyone can create and use, even if they never open an eBook.
