Portal GUI, Take 2

Another day, another mockup. I’ve tweeked the GUi a little, adding desktop preview to the Mac icons, and adding a search feature to the Item view.

For a change of pace, I’ve also done a second vision of the Item View, with more of a heavy Spotlight influence:

I’ve been having trouble puting together a good preview for the animations. Its hard to capture the wormhole’s dynamic motion in a still image, and I’m no where close to capable enough to make a movie preview. Any help here would be greatly, greatly appreciated!
