Hi there. Thanks for even reading this.

Currently, I’m the Principal Instructor of Future Media Concepts, where I spend about 80% of my time teaching film and video technology to others. Foolishly, instead of going into the family business of Law or Medicine….I chose to be a film and video editor (Penn State Alum) The other 20% of my time, I actually spend consulting on films/videos/dvds and speaking in public on technology topics (video, film, HD, workflow, that sorta stuff.)

I’ve worked on books, written articles….but what I really want to do is direct. (Not really. But you ask anyone in the field what they want to do, and they’ll tell you this.) I have a bunch of certifications along these lines (Apple Pro Apps Trainer, Adobe Cert. Instructor, etc.)

How much of a tech whore am I? My first Computer was a Commodore Pet (1980), my first Mac was a Mac 128k (yes really. 128k). I’m moments from buying a MacBookPro (as the pro apps run pretty poorly right now on my PB 17″). I even have an Apple eMate in a closet. Yeah, it’s that bad.

In my spare time… I’m the President of a Final Cut Users Group (in Philadelphia), and I’m a founding member of the Philadelphia Avid Editors User Group.
