I love FrontRow, but I wish I had more opportunity to use it. Eventually I will, but I love the whole idea of entering this sort of presentation mode.
There’s a lot of eye-candy to be sure, but it does FEEL good. So, if we’re going Apple software, why not go all the way?
PLUS… Apples shipping this nifty remote with all their computers anyhow. Let’s put it to some use, shall we?

Imagine you’re sitting in front of your mac, on your lunch break let’s say, and you want to enter into some casual message board reading. Sit back and enjoy your pizza… I give you, Play Mode (for lack of a better name)…

You would enter this mode by first navigating to your thread of choice, then hitting this button:

The idea is a mode that presents the thread you’re currently in, in an eye-pleasing presentation. It would give you more stats on the posters as well as utilize some Core Animation. Not to mention, you can use the arrow keys, the mouse, or most importantly, sit back and use the Apple Remote.
NOTE: This should only be observed by those who understand the concept of “broad-strokes”. Of course, if Hijack wins, then the real UI designers take over with a much finer brush. ;)
