Well, from what I can figure, either Hijack is Red or Blue. That means, either I’m a goner, or I’m doing okay.
But I fear it’s Red. Which puts me about 100 votes away from a winning spot.
So, my challenge to you, loyal Hijack (Boardwalk) fans, is to get the word out. Let’s bring Hijack back from the brink!
Be resourceful. Get creative. Persuasive even (but not cocky). We only have another day left, and things can shift. My only hope is that the MDA neophytes are putting in the research time in the blogs and mockups each of us worked so hard on throughout the competition.
If you want Hijack to survive… now’s the time! This is a call, anyone answering?

On a side note, I wanted to allay the fears that Hijack is unmarketable or no one will care to buy it. Think of the millions of users across all the boards that exist. If 5% of say 5 million posters worldwide are Mac users. And 5% of those would be willing to buy Hijack. That comes out to almost 13,000 users. Sure, it’s back of the napkin… but it has potential to change the face of message boarding. If it makes it as easy as emailing, it might even become a new way of communicating for many people who never saw the potential of MBs. Let’s get something useful out of MDA. Something you’d use EVERYDAY. Not some gimmick. But something that has the potential to change, and make easier, something that has been a wonderful part of the internet since most of us we’re in diapers or just hitting puberty.
