Remember the episode of Next Generation where Worf was drifting through parallel universes and had to check his video log to find out about his altered history? Aside from that being superlative use of a program like Supplemental, it’s worth noting that Worf never encounters a universe without a video logging program ready at his fingertips. That’s because it’s such a great app! Every universe has one.
In our universe the technology is already in the hands of the Mac community. We have invisible cameras embedded in stylish laptops. Core Animation is out in the Leopard Sneak Peek, so we can have smooth animated time-stamps and titles without the need to recompress video. We have the bandwidth, wired and wireless, and the storage capacity in ever more diverse forms of removable media.
More important than technology, we have a kickass development team!
