Peter Pebler

I live in El Cerrito, CA (bay area) with my wife and 3 month old daughter. I work as a software developer, unfortunately on Windows. (I have the Mac at home.) In 2000 I founded a software company named Neurobehavioral Systems with a colleague. We make a stimulus delivery package used in neuroscience and psychology research. You may be wondering, if I founded the company myself, why didn’t I make the product on/for the Mac? Well, if Apple had 90 percent (or whatever it is) of the PC market, I would. So until that happy day, I’ll have to slog away in Windows. (It’s getting better though.)

There’s no limit to the software development project ideas I have, but currently the company eats up all my programming energies. Before that, I was a physics grad student at Cal. Before that, I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and went to college on the east coast.

In my spare time (now gone, see the first sentence) I play my piano, study Japanese, do Chinese wushu, and order math and philosophy books from Amazon that I won’t have time to read.
