Bubble Fish

Bubble Fish would pop up a bubble window next to the cursor containing the definition or description of whatever text is directly under the cursor. This app would have the following features:

Applet structure for adding data sources. (e.g. wikipedia, WWWJDIC, etc.)
hot keys to switch between data sources (if multiple sources are active.)
Works independently of the apps, so it needs some way to find out what text is under the cursor. Hot-key could turn it on/off with a mouse hover triggering the search. Or a hot-key could trigger the search. Manual text selection would also be possible with a hot-key for the search.
hyper-links in the results. This idea is not new; the main idea here is the open architecture to easily allow different data sources with custom formatting for each.
