At this point, I have to admit, that I’m a little (OK, a lot) discouraged about how the voting is turning up. I find it interesting the threads debating how much mockups are making a difference this round. I don’t think anyone can accuse Ground Control of not having halfway decent mockups. And I have a hard time believing that posting a t-shirt gimmick has hurt GC that much. If Ground Control can survive this round, I’m not sure if I want to go up against the minions that are still voting for ideas like Desktop Wars & iGTD that have clearly been shot down. It’s obvious the majority of the voters pay absolutely no attention to the judges comments and I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them are clearing their caches and cookies and voting multiple times (as I have been made aware of).
Anyways, for those of you who are interested in trying to keep GC around, I’ve also been “made aware” of a digg that has been started. Just so you know, I did not encourage anyone to submit this and just woke up to the email this morning. I have been avoiding the use of digg for pimping my app and am still not in favor of it. If the people have spoken, then let them choose the apps they really want.
But, if you want to see Ground Control survive, than (he says, reluctantly). digg this.
