whitestone, I completely understand what you mean. Having majored in EE/CS from Cal, I myself would have agreed with the first sentence of your post. HAH. I think it can be a really fun tool for people of any age and the ideas can go beyond just holding things up to the camera such as integrating pictures from online catalogs or such. People already have so much fun with the photobooth and its effects… I’m sure they have fun with this, even if it’s little girls. Also, think about how many dress up games there are out there online and how much better they would be if they were a mac app!
hmm.. suddenly the samnmax dressup book popped into my head. I’m sure the boys had just as much fun dressing up a bunny and a dog as I did =)

I knew submitting this idea would be like eating a steak in front of vegetarians, or wearing clothes at a nudist colony… where some sort of culture/lifestyle was being invaded by something common in most situations but completely awkward in this specific context. Yes, I can see how people would get the “walking on eggshells” or “treading on enemy ground” feeling when commenting on this entry… so it’s almost easier to stay away. Either way, I’m still grateful!
