A Late-night Fantasy
So, we’re finally here with the launch of My Dream App. Looking back at when we started talking about it, it all seemed like a pipe-dream…just a few guys having a late-night chat. We often have chats about ideas that usually just end-up going nowhere. And usually those ideas aren’t overly ambitious. Some we do try and most often they just fizzle into the vaporware bin.
So when the My Dream App idea came up it seemed like pure fantasy. We figured it’d be a huge challenge to pull-off. This sounded good in a late-night iChat session but it’d never fly in reality… or would it?!
The more we talked about it, the more it seemed like we were just daydreaming: “Maybe we can get so-and-so to judge this!” The names got bigger and bigger and it was seeming more and more like one of those grandiose childhood fantasies you’d have where there were no bounds.
I gotta say that Phill worked his ass off to pull everyone together for this. Fantasy became reality and we got some of the biggest names in the business to take part in what may go down as one of the most talked about events in Mac history.
But maybe I’m being too optimistic here. Time will tell, but I do know it’s going to be one hell of a ride. And I couldn’t be happier that I’m a part of it. Dream on!
