A very interesting and well-thought out concept, if it can be done without too much processor usage and the graphics are top-notch (which by the mock-ups they should be) then I could see this being incredibly popular. Or just wait a few years and processors will have more power than they need and it won’t even be an issue!

I could see this working and also being really loads of fun for a quick diversion. For me, it’d have to exist in a dashboard-like layer that you could call up when you are bored, and it’d take whatever is on your desktop and create the ‘battlefield’ from it. This way when you are done with your diversion, just hit the F16 key or whatever it is and go back to what you were doing.

Stick-It sounds like an incredibly useful program if it’s feasible. I can already see all sorts of slick styles for notes added onto documents and windows. There would have to be some way to view all your notes though, the point of real-life sticky notes is that they are in-your-face so you notice them and know it’s something you need to get done.

I’d buy this in a second if I could get a freaky organic plant on my desktop. It’d be the epitome of functional eye-candy. Would also be awesome if there was some way to create a few petal, leaf, and branch styles and let the app generate the plant off of those, then the customizing junkies (like myself) would really jump on board.

Having all your correspondence available in a central location would be an amazing thing, especially if it was quick to access and find the information you were looking for. However with all this functionality, it’s going to be quite a challenge to keep the overall interface clean and functional.

I’d probably post on more forums if this were made, I really don’t like some of the default forum styles out there and then you have to go to each one individually and it can take forever.

Been looking for a good recipe manager for a long time, and this one would blow any of the ones I’ve tried out of the water. Seems to be really well thought out and I don’t see any glaring problems with the UI in the mockups. A lot of local grocery stores have online ordering available and it’d be nice to be able to go through them instead of amazon, but as long as it makes a grocery list for me, I’m happy!
