Thanks to everyone for making the My Dream App launch such a huge success! In just 24 hours we managed to gain over 2000 members and 1000 app ideas (not to mention over a quarter million hits in 36 hours), and our launch momentum shows no sign of slowing.
We’re working hard on improving the website for you guys, and for now, you’ll probably notice small things here and there. Submissions have been fixed up to allow modification and deletion of entries (and the character limit for ideas was upped to 800 characters for those who needed some more space to express your ideas). In addition, you’ll notice a new live counter in the header of the website where you can track how many ideas have been submitted.
Perhaps the coolest part has been the incredible growth of the forum community. It was amazing to see a community of thousands of members emerge over just two days. One thing I noticed was a surprising number of you who decided to share your ideas for feedback and critique in the My Dream App Discussion forum, so you’ll notice I added a new Critique My Dream App forum to house all of these threads. Be sure to check out some of the cool ideas members are already coming up with there and help out with some feedback.
